Ciao bellas! Today I am showing you how I got this cheeky Dolce & Gabbana inspired look for less.
For season after season, black, feminine dresses with red roses have become the epitome of the D & G look. My dress? Well its a mere $80 from VIP Me*.
So let's pretend we're in Italy and I'm some sort of timeless, Sicilian bella, as I show you how to get the luxe for less...
When VIPMe sent me this stunning floral embroidered midi dress*, I jumped for joy, as I could finally embrace those classic D & G florals. The quality of the dress itself is incredibly high; the embroidery is very detailed and is sewn onto a delicate, translucent mesh overlay. Although the dress does look a little longer on me than it does on the model on the site (seriously, is that chick like 7ft?), I actually really like the ankle-skimming length. Alongside this, it fits like a dream!
Best of all, you can get your own Dolce & Gabbana look-a-like dress for less, as VIPMe are offering my readers $5 off orders above $50 when they use the code Rachel348. One things for sure: this dress is way cheaper than the real D & G kaboodle, which would set you back about 1-8 thousand dollars. **Cue expensive sirens**
I teamed it with these gorgeous silver, reflective sunnies from TIJN Eyewear*, which, funnily enough are called 'Olaf'. I can 100% promise you, well no I can't, that I did not just choose this model because they have the same name as the cute snowman from 'Frozen'.
I am a sucker for reflective sunglasses because they are sure to hide my darker-than-dark circles, whilst adding a cute quirky flair to any look! I really like the round shape of these, although my other half did roll his eyes a little at yet another pair of 'Paul McCartney' glasses. Jokes aside, these babies will stay firmly plastered to my face for the rest of the Aussie Summer.
Finally, I finished off my Dolce & Gabbana Inspired Look with a swish of red lippy and these tassel earrings. The only thing I'm missing is an Italian style gelato, so I think I need to go and indulge in one pronto!

It's always wonderful when fashion speaks the language of it's heritage and it couldn't be more true for Dolce & Gabbana. The duo constantly seek inspiration from every aspect of Italian culture. Over the past few seasons, the red floral printed black dress has become an iconic part of D & G's makeup and has been reincarnated constantly over the past few years.
Black and red florals are to D & G, what tweed is to Chanel.

Unfortunately for me, my house repayments have left my wallet looking emptier than a whale's blow hole. Trans: D & G is waaay out of my league.
