If double denim still has awkward connotations of Britney and Justin circa 2001, it's time to change your perspective. Double denim doesn't have to scream 'nerd' or 'tradie', simply choose your colours and textures wisely, and the results are surprisingly sharp. Up the glam factor by adding some statement diamante pieces, as diamonds and denim are the perfect fashion oxymoron.

Yay- I have finally found the perfect boyfriend jeans! After deciding that my well-worn pair wasn't 'distressed' enough, Style Moi were kind enough to provide me with a beautifully-battered pair that fulfills my needs. Not gonna lie, receiving a humongous box full of Style Moi goodies was like Christmas and my birthday rolled into one. And I totally didn't annoy my other half with an #ohmygoshmynewclothes style fashion showing. I lie.
Also in that goodie box was this denim shirt, which, due to it's more indigo hue, looks perfect alongside the distressed jeans.
You all know my obsession with anything sparkly (such a magpie) and this statement boho-meets-glam necklace really floats my boat.
And don't get me started on THE SHOES, as I could literally waffle on about them all day.... It's safe to say that I am a major fan of the current lace up flats trend and I should really buy 50 pairs of these black pointed pumps, as I have been wearing them every single day! They were also a total steal at $30, which, as I like to use as an excuse say, is practically free!
So there's my take on double denim.
