Sometimes I wish I was in my twenties in the 60s. Peace, love and nature were all the rage and youth culture exploded into the mainstream. Sounds fun right? I can just imagine dancing around with rainbows painted all over my face and flowers in my hair. **Groovy**
The hippy era was also fashions turning point away from the demure and conservative cuts of the past to a rainbow of saucy colours and shapes.
In this hidden market square surrounded by lush rainforest in Kuranda, I was able to transport myself back to the groovy era. And it was awesome!
Wearing this, as the other half put it, 'sexy Pocahontas dress', I felt totally in place with the sunny boho vibes. Note the statement embroidery details! I feel like this dress is a literal breath of fresh air in a garment and I'm totally in love.
Add some statement, antique gold ethnic-style earrings into the mix and team with a messy bun and voila!
Now... if only I had an actual time machine...
