Why wait until you're at sea to rock blue and white stripes? I added a seemingly boat-ish floppy hat and a high neck top and headed to the driest place that I could find... The Aussie bush.

G'day Sheila's and Bruce's, today's outfit post is brought to you directly from the Aussie bush. Ok, I'll cut it out now, no one actually refers to women as Sheila's here. Nevertheless, these photos were taken in the beautifully bushy Granite Gorge, an animal-lovers paradise situated a mere hours drive from my house. Yep; I'm one lucky lady!
With cute, wild, rock wallabies hopping in amongst the giant boulders and an abundance of gumtrees and hidden pools, it could easily be mistaken for some sort of outback movie set. But for all you wanderlusters, this place is real and if you ever visit Far North Queensland, it is truly worth a visit.
You can even mix with the locals! The gorgeous rock wallabies eat straight from your hand, and, although they are a little spitty, they are super friendly. I even got to feed a little Joey (although Chandler and Ross were no where in sight) and he was seriously a cute overload.
If that's not enough, there is a boulder that looks uncannily like a whale. See above: It is even has a face!
Now for the outfit: A friend of mine actually tagged me on a photo of this Sportsgirl skirt on Facebook and from then, I had to have it! Yes: Seriously! I love how asymmetric and flowy it is and it has such an air of old-age femininity to it. I teamed it with one of my fail-safe high neck crops and my floppy hat. Because, as I said in previous posts (#HatObsessed), a hat is the ultimate injection of YES into an outfit.
